My name is Yelena.
I was born in Chernovtsy, Ukraine and moved to the United States when I was eight.
I know reside in Southeast Missouri.
I'm a sophmore in college. Although I say I am a Marketing and Management major, I honestly have no idea what I want to do with my life. This sometimes scares me and gives me minor panic attacks. My top three choices are Business, Law School or Journalism. Maybe a combination of two or all three? Who knows! :)
God is the center of my universe. But, sometimes I slip up, and have to find my way back to Him. A lot of my posts touch on my relationship with God and how I am constantly trying to grow and improve as a child of God. It's hard!
My family means the world to me. I am the oldest of ten kids, and I think my parents are angels in disguise. I lovee every single one of my family members, and would do anything for them.

I believe I am a writer at heart and have dreams of publishing all those stories in my heart one day. My blog usually has a lot of writing, a lot of reflections and sometimes random observations.
I like to think of myself as a fashionista, but I have realized that fashion is not my calling. It is simply something I enjoy. Putting together outfits, shoppings, pretty things and anything else style related strikes my fancy.
I'm working on gaining confidence in myself, my abilities, my destiny and my true beauty. It's a never-ending process, two steps forward, one step back, but I do believe (most days) that one day I will accomplish all that I set out to do.
Basically, I am girl who is trying to discover her purpose here on Earth. I dream of changing the world one day, of making a difference and touching lives. I have big dreams and even higher aspirations. I dream in color, day and night. I dream of love, beauty, happiness and all things that soothe the soul.
